• Police are because they protect people from bad people 

• They look  after you

• Firefighters 

• They go in flames to save you  

• They get your cats down from trees

• They save u from buildings that are on fire 

• Family  

• They are kind/nice

• They are helpful
• They help when you get hurt

My class is doing what is a hero and we also did who is a hero. My hero is a cop/police officer here are 10 reasons why I think the police are my heroes

1. They put the people that rob banks in jail
2. They don’t just save one person they save everyone
3.  The care for other people
4. They put all bad people in jail
5. They fight for others
6. They help others
7. They don’t give up on others]
8. They help people from robbers
9. They help and care for there team mates like doctors or fire men
10.  They are protective of everyone

Piwakawaka was doing an experiment we needed a bottle, balloon, baking soda, vinegar, and a funnel.

 

You have  to cut a line then u have  to cut a hole thats how u make  a funnel. We put the baking soda in to the bottle   then we pput the vinegar in to  the balloon. 

 

Then it started to inflate on its own.

Hi, my name is Matt my superpower is shape-shifting invisibility and telekinesis and my weakness the ice cold I came from a planet called Mars. But right now I’m in the city my grandfather he died by traveling to Uranus and gave me a pink gem.

Me and my group made a wind vane on Monday.

We used one straw, one pin, a pencil, paper, scissors, and play dough.

1. First we were cutting the two ends of the straw to make slits in them.
2. We also cut the paper, we made one large square and two smaller shapes. One small triangle and square.
3.  Then we stick the small shapes into the straw slits to be the pointers.
4. On the large square we wrote North, East, South, and West so we would know which direction it would be pointing at.
5. We stabbed the pencil through the cup and used the pin to stab it through the straw and the eraser.
6. We used playdough for the anchor base to keep the pencil steady so it wouldn’t fall down.

Then we went outside to go to the playground to put our wind vane on the spinner to make some wind because there wasn’t any. But it didn’t work so we had to go inside and we used the fan and the wind vane spun around from the fan wind.

I woke in the pacific ocean on a raft. It was so hot I felt like my skin was boiling because of the bot. I had food, water, and a compass. Before all of that, I found out that I was far away from my village I used the compass to go back to my village in New Zealand. It took me a lot of months. But my memory came back to me. The people from my village kicked me off the Island I didn’t know why but I made it. I went to my people to ask why they kick me out of the village. They said because I was lazy and because I didn’t help with the food and water. Then I became a better person,

3000 years ago me and my friend Lyrik traveled on our waka to Hawiki.Bang! Oh no! A storm is coming in. Me and Lyrik were paddling as fast as we could. It was raining hard the waves were huge and the thunder was loud. We made it to Hawiki. The people gave us blankets because we were cold. And food and water for our Journey. We paddled back hoping for sunshine on our journey. Back to Aoeteaoa.

We were reading about Whakatau-potiki which was about a boy who loves kites.

We made kites on Minecraft we did it for story chat. I made it a diamond shape and I did it with Raven. It was really fun to make.

I used blocks and fire, the fire was blue. Somehow the wood did not burn.

We came into the hall and then we saw nano girl,  Atomic Arissa and Rocket Girl. Then Atomic Arissa got some water and a type of gas and she used it to make bubbles. After that, she place her hand in the water so her hand would not burn she was holding bubbles on her hand boom! Her hand lit on fire if I had a superpower it would be teleporting

After that, she gathered kids for science. Nano girl got her cannon and then she put smoke inside and a circle came out of the cannon which teleported from one side of the hall to the other. IT WAS SO COOL!
